Some years ago being slightly bored with traditional alpine skiing and less traditional alpine snowboarding ("hard booting"), I was looking for new challenges. Hence I started telemark skiing and have not looked back since. I am a member of Telemarkforum, a virtual telemark ski club, with rather real ski trips: The traditional Telemark Festival held in Norway each year in December (more than 300 participants) and the "Week 5 Trip" usually held in the Alps.
